Certified protection for concrete surfaces
ANANKE Ground is tested under the current standard for floor fastening, with the base calculated according to the strength of your roof.
We manufacture ANANKE Ground guardrails that anchor directly to the surface, using a base that adapts to the structure.

— Our models
Each ANANKE guardrail is designed for a specific surface (counterweighted, sheet-mounted, floor-mounted, or wall-mounted). Choose yours or ask us for technical advice.
— ANCHORING AND FASTENING
The base is anchored to the floor or parapet using 2 M10 mechanical anchors, or resin if necessary.
It is installed after the concrete has cured, using a base bolted down with a mechanical anchor or chemical anchor. It is the most flexible option in terms of timing, because it does not depend on the construction phase, although its final strength depends on the condition of the existing concrete.
The floor base is back-plated against the tramex structure by means of a rod on its underside, thus joining the floor base to the metal structure, which is very useful for walking areas where the project already includes a tramex-type walkway.
All of our production takes place in Spain. This allows us to control quality, offer tight lead times, and customize any project without extra costs.

— Where is it installed?
Safety guardrails for roofs, walkways, and any elevated area with a fall hazard, in any situation that requires direct anchoring to the structural support.
Perimeter protection on walkable concrete roofs, industrial buildings, and shopping centers, where the floor can be drilled and is strong enough for the anchoring.
Guardrails anchored to the surface on walkways and access platforms, where firm flooring allows the base to be fixed with a chemical anchor without needing a counterweight.
Protection around rooflights, interior openings, and roof parapets without side fastening, anchored directly to the roof or concrete parapet.
Maintenance areas, logistics areas, machines, silos, and vertical structures.

A floor-anchored guardrail is a collective protection system, within the fall arrest system required by work-at-height regulations, that fastens its base directly to a rigid surface using a plate and a mechanical or chemical anchor. Unlike the counterweighted guardrail, which does not penetrate the surface, here there is drilling: the strength of the floor determines the anchor calculation before installation.
It is used on walkable concrete roofs, technical rooftops, access slabs, and any perimeter where the floor can be drilled and is strong enough to absorb the horizontal load on the handrail. We manufacture the range in aluminum profiles, with handrail and intermediate tube in 3-meter bars and posts every 1,500 mm, like the rest of the models in the family.
We test and certify ANANKE Ground in accordance with the UNE-EN 14122-3 standard. The test is performed by DEKRA Testing and Certification GmbH, an independent laboratory, with a report available for your project documentation or for the site inspection.
The certification covers the behavior of the assembly (guardrail, base plate, and anchor) under horizontal load on concrete. It does not replace a specific calculation when the actual strength of the concrete is uncertain; in those cases, our technical team reviews the slab data sheet before defining the type of anchor and the distance between anchors.
