Perimeter protection fastened to the wall or parapet
Ideal for areas where there is no usable walking space.
We manufacture ANANKE Wall for fastening directly to the wall, with no need for a counterweight or floor anchoring.
Profiles
Minimum height
Ideal for areas where there is no usable walking space.
— Our models
Each ANANKE guardrail is designed for a specific surface (counterweighted, sheet-mounted, floor-mounted, or wall-mounted). Choose yours or ask us for technical advice.
— APPLICATIONS
Safety guardrails anchored directly to the wall can be installed on any surface suitable for drilling.
With a parapet or rigid structural support capable of taking the guardrail's side anchoring.
Where side-anchored protection is needed without taking up the walking path.
Skylights, machinery, or ducts that require a safety perimeter.
With personnel traffic at height in industrial buildings and production plants.
Technical operation areas with a wall or parapet suitable for anchoring.
Supermarkets, shopping centers, and large-surface facilities.
All of our production takes place in Spain. This allows us to control quality, offer tight lead times, and customize any project without extra costs.

— How we work
From first contact to final documentation. We handle the entire cycle of the safety system:
01 / PROJECT
We prepare the drawing, data sheet, and fixed-price quote, taking into account the type of wall or parapet and the appropriate anchoring.
02 / FACTORY
We produce each guardrail in our own facilities with the exact surface, anchoring, and dimensions of your project.
03 / DELIVERY
We deliver the certificate of conformity, assembly manual, and data sheet with every supply.
— QUOTE
The price is tailored to the characteristics of your project. Send us the measurements and we will return a detailed quote.

A wall-mounted guardrail is a collective protection system within the fall arrest system required by work-at-height regulations, and it is fastened directly to a vertical construction surface (concrete, brick, or block) instead of being anchored to the floor or relying on a counterweight. Unlike the counterweighted guardrail or the sheet-metal fastening, here the load is transmitted to the wall itself, so the strength of the substrate determines the calculation before installation.
It is mainly used on roof parapets of sufficient height, on access walls to machinery, on stairwell enclosures, and on any perimeter where there is already a vertical wall capable of absorbing the horizontal force on the handrail.
We manufacture the product in aluminum profiles, with handrail and intermediate tube in 3-meter bars and posts spaced every 1,500 mm, like the rest of the ANANKE models.
Wall-mounted guardrails are anchored using brackets and fixing plates in square profile, bolted in with chemical or mechanical anchors depending on the type of wall. In concrete, the chemical anchor distributes the load better on a porous substrate; in block or hollow brick, the bracket needs a larger bearing surface so as not to punch through the material.
It is a common complement to a vertical access; it is installed on the side wall of a roof access ladder or a ladder with a platform, giving continuity to the perimeter protection in the section where the ladder meets the roof. It is the solution we use when the project already includes a fixed ladder system and needs to resolve the guardrail finish on the same wall, without changing the fastening system midway.
The main feature of the wall-mounted guardrail is its base, which is anchored laterally to the structure (wall or parapet) instead of to the floor. The components of ANANKE Wall are:

Installing a wall-anchored guardrail must be done by a professional with specific training in assembly and fall protection. As manufacturers, we do not carry out the installation: we provide the data sheet, assembly drawing, and advice so that the qualified installer can resolve the anchoring in accordance with the standard. These profiles usually handle the assembly:
The wall-mounted guardrail is especially useful in projects with little available space: the side anchoring provides protection without encroaching on the roof or the walking area.
Fastening the guardrail directly to the wall or parapet has several advantages over other anchoring systems:
That is why the wall-mounted guardrail is the usual solution when the project has little space: its side anchoring reduces obstruction in the surrounding area where it is installed.
We test and certify ANANKE Wall in accordance with the UNE-EN 14122-3 standard — safety of machinery, permanent means of access, part 3: stairs, stepladders, and guard-rails. The test is performed by DEKRA Testing and Certification GmbH, an independent laboratory, with a report available for your project documentation or for the site inspection.
This standard sets the minimum technical requirements the guardrail must meet:
You can learn more in our article on the test requirements of the UNE-EN 14122-3 standard.
The certification covers the behavior of the assembly (guardrail and anchor) under horizontal load on the wall. It does not replace a specific calculation when the type of wall or its state of preservation is uncertain; in those cases, our technical team reviews the substrate data sheet before defining the type of anchor and the distance between anchors.
