Work at Height

Work at Height

Fall arrest systems and devices for working safely at height.

Work at height is any work activity performed at a height of more than two meters above ground level, where there are risks to the worker’s safety and health.

This type of work involves performing tasks in elevated locations such as roofs, scaffolding, towers, platforms, structures, or any area that requires a person to move at great height, generally using specialized equipment such as ladders, harnesses, cranes, aerial work platforms, or fall protection systems.

In Spain, work at height is regulated by several standards, including:

Establishing the minimum safety and health provisions for the use of work equipment by workers.

Royal Decree 2177/2004
